The aim of this research is to describe the individual’s experience of exhaustion disorder (burn-out) and return to work. Previous research have shown a lack of perspective on the individual. The research questions are about how return to work is experienced and perceived and the factors that have seemed to work well and less well. From that information a discussion about how to develop the return to work for all parts will be presented. This is a qualitative research study with phenomenological method which means that the study should capture the participants feelings, thoughts and emotions, but the study does not aim to explain them.
